About Us
Bio of Erika Choi:
Upon graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Computer and Systems Engineering, Erika relocated to Atlanta where she spent 4 years at the Missile Systems Division of Rockwell International doing high-speed digital design for infra-red and laser systems in the Advanced Seeker Development Group. She then joined Raytheon in Tewksbury, Massachusetts where for 10 years she held positions of increasing responsibility from signal processing systems designer, to project management, to program management and functional management, and finally as the first Raytheon Six Sigma Champion for the Air and Missile Defense Systems business unit. She led the first team to use continuous improvement tools across all business functions to generate more than $50 million in savings over a two-year period.
In 2000, Erika returned to her roots in the Capital Region. She spent two years with the Center for Economic Growth helping small companies improve their operations while also allowing her to support one of her favorite initiatives -- promoting high-tech growth in the Capital Region. She maintains a relationship with a national consortium of consultants who have implemented enterprise-wide continuous improvement programs at large corporations such as Raytheon and Glaxo Smith Kline and has participated with the consortium on projects at World Kitchen Incorporated (formerly Corning Consumer Products). Erika now runs Choice Solutions, LLC – a management consulting company. |
